to the editor

From time to time we at T h e K i n g ’ s B u s in e s s receive letters that don’t quite fit into our reg ular Reader R e a c tion page. Sometimes these letters carry a message that brings real encour agement. Here’s part of one that came this month. “ Enclosed are checks which probably should be addressed to the ‘Tithing Dept.’ but I felt as though it might be appropriate to address a personal note of thanks to you. “ I discussed the matter of tithing with a mature Christian (several of your articles on the sub j e c t helped tremendously too) who advised me that my missionary, tithe should be per sonal if possible. I thought, I do not know any missionaries personally, and then I thought of the inestimable help your magazine has been to me in the two dark years of groping I have just been through. “ Your entire magazine has helped me grow spiritually and I feel a very warm personal in terest in your work. May the Lord continue to bless you and your staff in your wonderful ministry.” This is the kind of letter that God sometimes permits to come our way as a very real means of encouragement in this mag azine ministry. — Your Editors
