Do You Know the Clubhouse Rules of Attire?

As the summer season has officially begun at the Club, we’ve entered one of the busiest times here. When at the Club, members and guests are expected to adhere to the Rules of Attire as outlined in the Club Rules. We’re often asked what this means and with the Rules of Attire having recently been clarified/updated, we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you of some highlights relating to the Clubhouse rules of attire. As a general rule, you must always dress in a manner appropriate for a country club setting, and clothes must be clean, dry, and appropriately fitted. As a member, you are responsible for making sure that your family and guests follow the Rules of Attire as you enjoy the Club. If you see or experience an issue that requires attention, please inform our staff so they may address it appropriately, and if requested, please follow their instructions. Your failure, or the failure of your family or guests, to comply with the Rules of Attire will result in disciplinary action as outlined in the Organizational Manual. If you have a question about the Rules of Attire, please send an email to rulesofattire@ancc.org . A full copy of the Rules of Attire may be found on the Club’s website here or by scanning the QR code below:

Registration Under Way for Yellow Ribbon Classic Registration is now open for the Yellow Ribbon Fund’s 17th Annual Army Navy Country Club Golf Classic, an annual event to raise funds to support the continuing care wounded warriors often require. Here in Army Navy’s centennial year, there’s a new twist to the event that promises to be the ultimate showdown on the green: the battle for the Club Cup. Area country clubs are invited to field 4-member teams to compete in this tournament within a tournament against ANCC teams and all others. Entry into the Club Cup challenge is open to any team at the Eagle sponsorship level or above. This year’s tournament begins with a shotgun start on 28 October at 12:30 p.m. at the Arlington course, followed by a reception and dinner with a brief program in the clubhouse where the Club Cup and other prizes

will be awarded. Registration information is available via the Yellow Ribbon Classic webpage, which can be accessed with the QR code on the adjacent display or by clicking here . ANCC has partnered with the Yellow Ribbon Fund for 17 years to bring needed services to wounded military members and their families. Guest Policy If you find an ANCC towel laying around, please return it to one of the many towel bins across our facilities. Thanks for your help in keeping all our towels at the facility and in circulation for all members to enjoy. Towels

On Monday, 29 July and Tuesday, 30 July, all 16 teams across the CCSDA (Country Club Swim and Dive Association) descended on Army Navy Country Club for the final swim meet of the season, known as Champs. And the host team did not disappoint, winning the Championship while celebrating the Clubs centennial and at our new aquatic facility! Not since 1980 had our ANCC swim team brought home the title. The energy was high from the beginning with fast times in the pool and screaming voices cheering on our ANCC swimmers from our decks. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who made this year’s Champs a huge success!! What a way to end the 2024 season! Go Army Navy! CCSDA Champions!
