In this module, you will learn effective approaches, theories, and tools to promote healthy behavior in communities. We begin by addressing biases within and towards communities and then delve into assessing their needs and available resources for development. We also evaluate historical and contemporary change strategies. Through case studies, we examine advocacy in public health, drawing from various causes. Your learning experience is enriched by structured reflections on your practice.
This module focuses on exploring coaching and mentoring in health and social care. It addresses the role of managers in engaging, motivating, and developing staff to improve performance. It teaches key principles and skills, encouraging their application in work relationships and critical analysis of coaching and mentoring theory and practice.
