Gamma Xi Wins Big at Wichita State’s 2023 Greek Awards The Gamma Xi Chapter at Wichita State University was recently honored at the 2023 Greek Awards banquet, where two of its members received three of the college’s Fraternity and Sorority Life’s (FSL) departmental awards. Kylee Hower was named the female recipient of the 2023 Craig Barton Outstanding Greek Sophomore Award, and Sawyer Kirkland took home two titles – first as the female recipient for the 2023 Outstanding New Member Award and secondly as the winner of the 2023 Gamma Phi Beta Greek Unity Award. “We are so proud of our sisters for winning these prestigious awards, as well as our chapter for all the accomplishments we [achieved] in 2023,” shared Gamma Xi’s chapter president, Madison Huber. Additionally, students in the FSL community with a 3.5+ cumulative GPA were recently invited to a scholarship dinner where Gamma Xi received the 2023 Best New Member GPA and the 2023 Best Active Member GPA.
