Swimmer 9 - Star Patrol Description Swimmers take on 600 - metre workouts, 300-metre timed swims, and a 25 - metre object carry while refining strokes over 100 metres. First aid covers bone and joint injuries, and respiratory emergencies, including asthma and allergic reactions. Lifesaving skills include defense methods, victim removals, and supporting a victim face-up in shallow water. 1:12 instructor to participant ratio.
