dlr County Council Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council plays a major role in the physical, economic, social and cultural development of the county. The elected councillors adopt a 5 year County Development Plan which serves as the blue print for the provision of infrastructure such as housing, roads, parks and community facilities. In addition the Council is developing a new Local Economic and Community Plan (LECP). The implementation of the LECP is overseen by the Local Community and Economic Development and Enterprise Strategic Policy Committee.
