DANCE The following Dance Classes on this page are held at the Valley View Elementary Lunchroom with instructor: Monica Mohn “DANCING QUEEN” LINE DANCE Hit the dance floor with this high-energy line dance inspired by ABBA’s iconic hit, “Dancing Queen!” No partner needed—just bring your inner disco diva (and maybe a few friends!) for an hour of pure dance floor joy. Whether you’re channeling your inner ‘70s superstar or just looking for a fun way to move, this class is your chance to dance, jive, and have the time of your life! 7085-W1 1 Session: $15 Tuesday, February 3 | 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. ROMANTIC DANCE Cozy up with simple, romantic moves you can use anywhere—from wedding dance floors to kitchen slow dances. You’ll be turning, twirling, and gliding together in no time—and wondering why you didn’t try this sooner. Perfect for date night, this class keeps things light, fun, and flirty. No fancy footwork required—just two people ready to laugh, move, and maybe fall in love all over again. So grab some friends and enjoy an hour of fun, “funky” moves to the energetic Bruno Mars’ song that will have you dancing the night away!!! No partner needed. 7097-W1 1 Session: $15 Wednesday, March 11 | 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. SWING DANCE - ONE NIGHT OF FUN! Beat those mid-March blues by putting a little swing into it! A fun, one-night experience where you ‘ll be introduced to upbeat swing music while learning sassy spins and classic moves like the arch and loop. EASY LINE DANCES FOR ALL OCCASIONS Step onto the floor and experience the fun of line dancing with this workshop of the popular line dances: Electric Slide, Cha Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle. But where did the time go? In one night, Monica eases you into the joy of dancing with simple moves and fun turns that you can use for years to come for any occasion. Well, here is the dance class for you. For those times when a “few moves” are all you need to get through a 3 minute song, you and your partner will learn a couple of fun spins and... how to be comfortable in each other’s arms while the music is playing.
