STATEMENT REGARDING DC GOVERNANCE
These are underpinned by the DC quality features.
Following the publication of the Pensions Regulat or’s General Code of Practice (the Code) which applies to governing bodies of occupational, personal and public-service pension schemes, the Trustee is now working towards ensuring its compliance with the Code during the 2024 Scheme Year.
The Trustee Directors reviewed the following Scheme documents with regards to the DC arrangements:
The Trust Deed & Rules
the Conflicts of Interest Policy the DC Governance Statement the Implementation Statement Investment Implementation Policy the Statement of Investment Principles
the Risk Register
the Member Nominated Director Nomination and Selection Process Statutory and non-statutory transfer documentation Procedure for the appointment, selection and review of professional advisors Member Communication Policy Strateg ic Objectives for the Scheme’s Investment Consultant
The Trustee has also received advice on the following areas:
Transfer of administration services from Mercer to Buck New Minimum Pension Age Equity, Diversity & Inclusion within the Trustee Board Value for Members Assessment in respect of DC benefits
Based on our assessment we believe that we have adopted the standards of practice set out in the DC Code of Practice (now superseded by the Code) and DC regulatory guidance. These help demonstrate the presence of DC quality features, which we believe will help deliver better outcomes for members at retirement.
