Drs. Louis T. Talbot, William Ward Ayer, Walter L. Wilson and Charles L. Feinberg, are a few of the key speakers who wdll be featured during the two Biola Family Bible Conferences this summer. Dates for Mount Hermon, California are Au­ gust 13-20. Dr. Bill Bynum, head of the Christian Education Department of Biola, wdll direct the specialized youth program for the Mount Her­ mon week. Activities for junior high, and college young people will be held t in the morning, afternoon and eve­ ning. Dates for Biola’s second annual Bi­ ble Conference at the Firs Bible and Missionary Conference, near Belling­ ham, Washington wdll be August 20 to 27. At both conferences, Miss Jeanne Odell, soloist for HCJB, Ecua­ dor wdll be featured. Dr. Samuel H. Sutherland, president of Biola, wdll be Conference Director. STEWARDSHIP DEPARTMENT HOLDS AN N U A L MEETING Rev. Ray Weiskopf, director of the Stewardship Department, led Biola Field Representatives in their annual spiritual refreshment and information meeting held at “home base.” New booklets and other materials pertain­ ing to Christian wills and estates were studied and worked out, to be made ready for distribution to in­ terested friends. The Field Represent­ atives are available for personal coun­ selling on all matters pertaining to Christian stewardship. A letter of in­ quiry wdll be all that is necessary for any help you may wish.

With an expected attendance of more than 150 pastors from through­ out the West, the first annual Pastors’ Seminar will be held on the Biola Campus in La Mirada September 5-7.

Thomas Miller, pastor of the 26th and “ I” Streets Community Church, San Bernardino, Seminar Chairman, reports that a number of outstanding speakers will be heard. Dr. Raymond Cramer, consulting psychologist, will talk on the im­ portance of personal counselling. Dr. Harold Fickett, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Van Nuys, wdll discuss the total church program. Dr. Jack MacArthur, pastor of die Harry MacArthur Memorial Church, will speak on Radio and TV for the local church. Dr. Lloyd T. Anderson, pas­ tor of the Bethany Baptist Church of West Covina, will stress the develop­ ment of the pastor’s spiritual life. Dr. William C. Thomas, pastor of the First Baptist Church of West Los Angeles, will keynote the theme of communism and its threat to the church. Other outstanding speakers wdll also be heard.
