Algorithm A mathematical formula for solving a problem or completing a task, often used for data processing and automated reasoning. Many AI programs use algorithms to complete human requests. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Making machines smart enough to do tasks that only people used to do well. This includes things like solving problems, making decisions, and learning from experience. AI Platform An AI-powered tool that humans can interact with to get the information they request. Bias A systematic error when incorrect assumptions or prejudices in the AI tool’s data is used. Chatbot A computer program that uses AI to simulate conversation with human users. ChatGPT Developed by Open AI, it is one of the most commonly used generative AI platforms. Copilot Microsoft’s generative AI platform. In addition to being used for Bing searches, it is integrated with Microsoft Office programs.
