Agent A system or program that can perform tasks on behalf of a human.
Algorithm A mathematical formula for solving a problem or completing a task, often used for data processing and automated reasoning. Many AI programs use algorithms to complete human requests. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Making machines smart enough to do tasks that only people used to do well. This includes things like solving problems, making decisions, and learning from experience. AI Literacy The ability to understand, use, and evaluate AI tools effectively and responsibly. AI Platform An AI-powered tool that humans can interact with to get the information they request. AI Use Case A real-world scenario where AI technology is applied to solve a specific problem, fulfill a particular need, enhance a process, or create something new. Bias A systematic error that occurs when an AI system reflects unfair assumptions or prejudices present in its training data, potentially leading to discriminatory outcomes.
