Thank you for taking time to look through our bull selection! We added some new genetics provided by Little Bitterroot Ranch. We are promoting high performing cattle with emphasis on length to improve percent retail product in the carcass data. The bulls are evaluated by performance and docility throughout the year. The bull calves were weaned in September. The start date for the full group was October 2, 2025. They were started on a ration of chopped hay, hay barley silage, and bull developer. This group aver- age a 2.9 weight per day of age. This is our best selection of purebred red bulls we have had in recent years. Our purebred blacks are under mostly new herd sires with exceptional potential.. We are currently getting more calves from Black Granite from our heifers.
Years of focusing on carcass quality makes these Simmental bulls thrive.
In 2025 we fed around 120 heifers sired by our bulls. The group averaged 96% choice and 82% CAB. They also had mostly 1&2 yield grades resulting in $125 per head over grid price.
We are feeding another 85 heifers and 35 steers at the feedlot in Stanford this year.
