have lined up our speakers. All our meetings are in person this year and our April Business meeting featured Amy Hopmann, CPLTA, who is the VP of Outsourcing for LandVantage. She spoke on Acquisitions and the opportunity that the Division Order Analyst should take to involve themselves in the process. She detailed all that was involved in gathering good data sets to onboard a new asset during an acquisition. It was very informative and created a lot of interest for our analysts. CAPDOA is also very excited about our seminar which will be June 14 at Remington Park. This is an all-day event with 6 speakers. We are thrilled to be able to offer a NADOA 2022 Institute Registration as a door prize at this year’s seminar! There will be wonderful speakers and great networking opportunities, so we hope to see many of our members there. DENVER ASSOCIATION OF DIVISION ORDER ANALYSTS (DADOA) Association based in the Denver, CO Area
Howdy from Dallas-Fort Worth!! My name is Eli Murray, and I was honored to be selected as President of the association this year.With the end of the pandemic, everyone was ready to see each other in person for learning.We have already held two events, a February Luncheon and our annual Spring Seminar.While attendance at the events was lower than before COVID-19 rocked the nation, we’re hoping that as time goes on, more and more members will feel comfortable joining us in-person. Even with the slightly smaller turnout, we had a wonderful time, and enjoyed good food and great education.We are very fortunate to have a wonderful team serving on the Board:
On March 30, DADOA hosted a virtual lunch and learn for members with Attorney Andrew S. Graham, Partner with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, on a common title issue regarding Floating v. Fixed NPRIs. Thank you to Andrew for presenting on this important issue and to all the members who spent their lunch hour with us to learn more about this topic. DADOA is excited to return to in-person luncheons this summer. The board is working hard to plan our next luncheon and we cannot wait to get together with all of our members again soon!
