NADOA established an Educational Memorial Fund in 1985 to provide funding for educational programs of the Association. In memory of each deceased member of NADOA, $100.00 from the general treasury of the Association is placed in the Memorial Fund. Donations are also accepted from individuals, local Division Order associations, and corporations. Remembering Leah Ann Sebring August 27, 1950 -January 23, 2022
home. She then took a job with Golden Oil and later moved to Samson Resources as a Sr. Analyst in the Division Order Department. She held that position along with working her way up to a supervisorial position. She worked for Samson for 25 years. Leah was an active member of NADOA and SADOA and in 2001 she became a Certified Division Order Analyst. She was very proud to be #368 to have passed the CDOA. In March of 2015, Samson started layoffs, so Leah decided to retire. She made many friends in the industry with whom she kept in contact after retirement. In 2012, after 25 years of being single, she married her soulmate, John Sebring. In her words, “Life is great!” Leah loved being a Grammy to 7 grandkids, and to garden, plant flowers, can vegetables, travel, cook, bake, decorate for Christmas and attend lunch dates with her girlfriends. Survivors include husband John Sebring; daughter Rachael Staten-Grigg and her husband Robert Grigg; stepsons Thomas Sebring, Ed Sebring and his wife Cynthia, and Jay Sebring and his wife Cathy; grandchildren Eddie, Andy, Reid, Robert, Jayden, Taylor, and Harper; along with many other close family members and friends.
Leah was born August 27, 1950 in Enid, Oklahoma. She peacefully passed January 23, 2022 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Over her 72 years of life, she worked in several different industries but the industry she worked in the longest was oil and gas. She was in oil and gas for 35 years. Her first job in the industry was with Sooner Pipe and Supply where she was the secretary for the head of pipe sales. Then in 1981, she transferred to Bigheart Pipeline as a trainee in the division order department. In 1987, Bigheart was bought out by Koch Oil and she was asked to move to the Wichita office. After a year and a half in Wichita she missed Tulsa and moved back
