ISO 14001 is the main standard of the international standard series that deals with environmental management*. The standard requires the organisation to define its environmental goals and objectives, as well as the management system to achieve these goals. In addition, the standard requires that the organisation adhere to these requirements also in its processes, procedures and operations.
