What is implementation training ?

All who intend to implement PURPLE must complete implementation training . Implementation training educates and prepares staff to successfully deliver the life saving content provided through PURPLE . PURPLE implementation training can be completed in person or online - each PURPLE partner organization indicates their preference to PCAF staff who will schedule and track completion . This program is Approved by the National Association of Social Workers . Approval # 886545124 - 9552 for 1 continuing education contact hour . Expiration date : 11 / 30 / 2026 . This Nursing Continuing Professional Development activity was approved by Pennsylvania State Nurses Association Approver Unit , an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center ' s Commission on Accreditation . PSNA Approval Code 063 - 1 - O - 24 for 1 nursing contact hour . Expiration date : 1 / 12 / 2027 .

Can training be completed online ? Or is it only in person ?

Implementation training is offered in a number of ways , these include : In person training - Prevent Child Abuse Florida staff travel to desired training location . All attendees complete 2 hour training with PCAF trainer . Live virtual training - Organizations attend via PCAF led training via Teams / Zoom . Same content as in person training is provided , lasts 2 hours . 24 / 7 asynchronous training - The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome offers a free asynchronous training that is accessible at all times . This is a great asset to utilize when you experience staff turnover , or when staff are in need of a refresher .

What if my organization is not an implementing partner ? What if we want our staff to be trained on PURPLE just for awareness ?
