HOW TO MAKE 2024 YOUR MOST ACTIVE YEAR YET!
With the new year comes new goals and resolutions. If you’re like many people, you probably want to be more active in 2024. A great way to start the year off right is to get involved with winter sports like skiing and snowboarding, where January’s frigid temperatures are a blessing.

To learn more — or to get started with your new device — give us a call to schedule an appointment today. Enjoying Winter Sports with a Prosthesis or Orthosis Many people are surprised to learn that someone with a prosthesis or orthosis can enjoy skiing and other winter sports. All it takes is the right equipment, plus a little specialized training to ensure you’re safely controlling your limbs. Let’s look at the equipment first, as it’s something our specialists can help you with! You don’t necessarily need a new device just to go skiing. However, you will need to ensure your device can safely fit into the ski boot. Orthoses can generally fit into a ski boot without issue. If you have a prosthesis, you may need adaptive equipment to keep everything secure. Our team is happy to talk with you in-depth and provide any personalized guidance to ensure you have everything you need to master the mountainside.
