Best of Cruise - November 22

Walt Disney once said: “It all started with a mouse.” Back in 1971, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida was a one-park attraction entirely for families. Today, there’s a lot more to the massive, 47 square-mile fantasy theme-park than being welcomed by Mickey Mouse. You can choose between four theme parks - Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom – over 25 Disney Resort hotels, two water parks, golf courses, countless places to dine and shop, plus other attractions. Encompassing 14 acres at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the phenomenal ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ where you can immerse yourself in a galaxy far, far away on the planet of Batuu. The largest settlement is Black Spire Outpost, a once-thriving colony, now an infamous hangout for smugglers, rogues, and outlaws escaping First Order Stormtroopers. Through a labyrinth of eerie alleyways, you encounter strange creatures and antiquities from across the galaxy. There’s the chance to become one with the Force by creating your own custom lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop; while at Droid Depot you get the chance to design and build your own robotic companion. Docked in the Black Spire Outpost Spaceport, ‘Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run’ offers an epic, interactive flight simulator ride on the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy. Led by space pirate Hondo Ohnaka, who hires his willing crew of pilot, gunner or engineer for a dangerous mission on Corellia, you engage in a thrilling interactive smuggling mission recreating the exploits of Han Solo. At ‘Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance’ you enlist alongside a covert team in an epic battle against the evil First Order. It’s also possible to create a unique Disney getaway by combining the enchantment of Walt Disney World Resort with the magic of Disney Cruise Line. Whether it’s some relaxing ‘me time’ for adults, imaginative activities for the kids, or thrilling entertainment for the whole family, a Disney cruise ensures everyone shares in the seaborne escapism together. Hays Travel can offer a variety of departure dates to embark on a tropical voyage aboard Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, or Disney Wish. _____
