Him, whom can you t r u s t ?" And that settled it for me. For in a flash I saw that the Man who so loved me as to die for me could be absolutely trusted with all the concerns of the life He had saved. Friend, you can trust the Man that died for you. You can trust Him to lead you in the path which is the very best in this world for you. You can

trust Him to baffle no plan which is not best -to be foiled, and to carry out every one which is for God's glory and your highest , good. You can trust Him to ask no obedience which will not end in highest blessing both for your life and the kingdom of God. You can trust Him to rob you of naught 'frhich is not for. your highest good, and to bestow in fullness upon you the riches of His grace and love.

THE YOKEFELLOWS HALL There is great satisfaction in having one's hopes justified. In undertaking t he work on Los Angeles Street (the Mars Hill of this country) we knew that we were going up against a tough pro- position. It was one thing to go down there once in a while and conduct a service, but it was another thing to go there and set the stakes for permanent work. Our hearts were drawn out to these men, many of them splendid, but greatly deceived fellows. Preaching for half or three quarters of an hour is a strain upon some men. Mr. Mullen often preaches for two hours outside and then for an hour inside of the Hall. If preaching to a sympathetic audience is a tax, what must it be when scores of antagonistic men face you, seeking to overcome you—organizing in opposition, seeking to prevent you from speaking—by faithful, persistent, patient, fearless preaching Mr. Mullen has con- quered and the grace of God has proven sufficient as it always will when He calls to service. Some remarkable experiences have been encountered in the work. At the close of the meetings—sometimes one, two, ten or twenty and as high as sixty men have publicly professed to accept Christ.. Not a day passes without men asking to be shown the way of life. No one is ever coaxed at these services. Men are dealt with lovingly, but honestly, and dependence is placed upon the power of the word to bring results. Six nights in the week Bible Classes àre held with the men, the average at- tendance for the past two months has been forty. The membership of thè Yokefellows has grown to 2 9, with several of the con- verts waiting to be taken in. • All able bodied men who have been wanting

work have been supplied. Many of the strangers and destitute have been pro- vided for. The objects of the Yokefellows Band is to unite the converts in Christian fel- lowship and service for their fellow men. Many interesting incidents occur. A Christian Science man came to the open air meeting and after listening to our speaker said, "I have heard him be- fore and have tried to live a Christian life, but have been going to the wrong church every Sunday for a couple of months. But I now see that I was de- ceived by the devil and will no longer go to the Christian Science Church." And he has been a regular attendant of our Bible Class for 5 consecutive weeks. A young man listening to the street speaker for one hour entered the Hall. During the Bible study he gave a testi- mony to the glory of God saying: "I used to study the Book of Daniel and Revelation before I left home, but for the past seven years I have been a Labor Movement Agitator. But by the grace of God I will believe in Jesus Christ and preach the gospel as the only remedy for men." The following is a summary of the work for the past six months: Out-of-door meetings—week days, 234; average attendance, 300. Out-of-door meetings—Sundays, 60; av- erage attendance, 700.
