PAYROLL PETS
Modern life is incredibly busy and combining work and home life can be a balancing act. Pets can really help our mental wellbeing and help us find some solace and stability in difficult times.
Here are just a few of your wonderful furry and feathered friends...
Names: Milo and Terri Sent by: Leon Juice, Chief Executive Officer, Duvet Flip “At 14, Milo, the Sprocker Spaniel is technically a senior citizen, but don’t tell him that; he’s convinced he’s still a sprightly pup. With the face of an angel and the morals of a mischievous slipper thief, he’s a cuddle enthusiast with a criminal record (mainly in the footwear department). Rub his tummy at your own risk – he might rob you blind while you’re distracted. “Terri didn’t just join the family – she materialised. A former stray and now full-time stalker, she specialises in sneak attacks of affection and stealth mode snuggles. If you’ve got claws in your cardigan or a cat in your personal space (again), you’ve likely met Terri. She’s not just close; she’s nose-to-nose close, and somehow always one step ahead. Possibly a witch. Definitely adorable.”
Names: Rufus Sent by: John Lestock, Global Payroll Accountant, Boeing
“Rufus helps me maintain a healthy balance with my work demands. Each morning after responding to numerous emails and tackling issues at work, he and I will take a break and go for a walk around the neighborhood. Giving him lots of pets helps me feel centred and allows me to de-stress a bit. He’s a fabulous co-worker.”
Name: Stella Sent by: Anna Giżycka ACIPP, Human Resources and Payroll Officer, Rhenus Warehousing Solutions “Please meet my lovely Stella – a four-year-old Springer Spaniel. After a busy day at work, there’s nothing better than a walk together.”
