There has never been a better time to focus on raising cattle that work. With the opportunities in front of our industry, the decisions we make today have the potential to pay dividends for years to come. At Birch Creek Angus, we believe that starts with practical, functional cattle that fit their environment, do their job, and make the operation more profitable. We appreciate the customers and friends who share that philosophy and continue to put their trust in our program. Our approach to breeding cattle is shaped by the country we run and the demands we place on them. In the high desert, there is little room for cattle that require more than their environment can provide. Fertility, longevity, sound structure, and the ability to raise a good calf year after year are not extras—they are necessities. Those are the traits that guide our decisions and keep us focused on building a cow herd that will stand the test of time. Our philosophy is reflected in how we manage our own herd. Our registered and commercial cows run together under the same range conditions, and they are held to the same expectations. Every cow has to earn her place by breeding back on time and weaning a high percentage of her body weight on the resources available. We are equally deliberate about the genetics we introduce, placing continued emphasis on health traits, including PAP, while keeping our feet firmly planted in the fundamentals of sound, productive cattle. We also understand that confidence in a breeding program comes from more than what is written on paper. It comes from knowing the cattle have been developed with purpose and that the people behind them are willing to stand behind what they sell. We take that responsibility seriously and remain committed to offering bulls backed by a strong guarantee and a breeding philosophy grounded in real-world results. For the first time we have decided to offer a set of registered females. These females have come right off the top of the registered herd and believe they will be a strong asset to any operation. It is extremely difficult for us to part with any females but the drought conditions have forced us to sell some. At the end of the day, this business is still about good cattle, good people, and building something that lasts. We are fortunate to be part of an industry full of people who take pride in what they do, and we never take that association for granted. Thank you for being part of our program and for allowing us the opportunity to earn your business. With sincere appreciation, Logan Sampson and Aaron Tenney Birch Creek Angus
