6.3 Replenishment policy

Purpose:

Inventory replenishment is a process that ensures the Boutique displays and storage cupboards are as per standard with no low stock or overstock.

Timing and frequency of replenishments:

 The main daily replenishment must take place before and after trading hours.

 To maintain merchandising standards at all times, replenishment must be done after each customer purchase.  The products displayed in the showcases should not be directly replenished from the boxes (white carton boxes).  As part of the main replenishment process, the ballotin (brown carton boxes) must be filled with products before trading hours.

 The Boutique Manager is to ensure that the displays are adequately stocked.

 The Boutique Managers are responsible for stock movement.
