Pre-delivery preparation:

 Deliveries must be scheduled before trading hours to carefully check the products received.  Manpower needs to be arranged accordingly.

 The stockroom and storage areas must always be clean and tidy.

 Empty spaces must be organized before the arrival of the delivery to ensure smooth operations.

 Supporting equipment, e.g., ladders and trolleys, must be in good condition as per health and safety standards.

 Make sure to follow FEFO practice (ref SOP 7.4 FEFO).

Documentation:

 The transfer form handed over by the driver must be checked thoroughly (Boutique code, number of plastic containers, etc.).  The condition of each product delivered must be checked.  In case of variances (shortage or excess), a report must be sent immediately to the warehouse before 2 PM via email.  In case of any damages (broken box, leaking bottle), clear pictures must be sent along with the report before 2 PM via email.

Important Safety Note: (ref SOP 8.6 lifting and handling).

When carrying or storing the boxes, please ensure that health and safety standards are always followed.
