Pre-delivery preparation:
Deliveries must be scheduled before trading hours to carefully check the products received. Manpower needs to be arranged accordingly.
The stockroom and storage areas must always be clean and tidy.
Empty spaces must be organized before the arrival of the delivery to ensure smooth operations.
Supporting equipment, e.g., ladders and trolleys, must be in good condition as per health and safety standards.
Make sure to follow FEFO practice (ref SOP 7.4 FEFO).
Documentation:
The transfer form handed over by the driver must be checked thoroughly (Boutique code, number of plastic containers, etc.). The condition of each product delivered must be checked. In case of variances (shortage or excess), a report must be sent immediately to the warehouse before 2 PM via email. In case of any damages (broken box, leaking bottle), clear pictures must be sent along with the report before 2 PM via email.
Important Safety Note: (ref SOP 8.6 lifting and handling).
When carrying or storing the boxes, please ensure that health and safety standards are always followed.
