Make-up  Female employees MUST report to work looking fresh with suitable make up for retail.

 Simple make up application guidelines:

 Apply moisturizer to the skin to ensure smooth make up application.

 Apply concealer under your eyes. Use a yellow-tone concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your foundation to lighten any under-eye darkness.  Apply foundation just on the parts of your face (typically around the nose and mouth) where you notice redness. Make sure to use the foundation suitable for your skin.

 Apply a natural shade of blush on the apples of the cheeks.

 Use a lipstick or gloss in a shade that looks natural and suits the colour of your lips.

 Make your eyes stand out with two or three coats of black mascara.

Keep it natural:  Regardless of your skin tone, choose warm tones for your eye shadow, such as golden beige, vanilla, peach, plum, chocolate browns, rather than blue, grey, greens, pink or purple shades. This applies to both lipstick and blush.

 Choose a good foundation that has a mattifying effect according to your skin type.

 Make-up must be professional and conservative.

 Day makeup should be light, subtle, and carefully applied. Light to medium shades (i.e., pinks, peaches).  Avoid dark Kohl liners on the inner rims of your eyes, as these tend to smudge throughout the day and make you look unprofessional.

 Mascara is a must.

 For your daily appearance, you can either go for a nude lip pencil and a gloss that you can reapply during the day or choose a creamy lipstick in a dark pinkish nude hue.

 Neutral pink lipstick and soft subtle corals are the best choices for your typical day at work.
