5.1 Opening
Opening procedures:
1. Clocking-in All employees need to punch in by using the fingerprint machine (errors need to be reported to Boutique Manager and IT department). Switch on the Boutique and showcase lights. Re-start all the systems (POS, CC-machine, laptop). 2. Receiving Product & Orders Receive your daily delivery according to the receiving procedures (SOP 9.2 Stock receiving and storing policy). Delivery from the warehouse will take place between 7:30AM to 9:30AM. 3. Cleaning & Checklist Completion Windows, Boutique floor and BOH need to be cleaned prior to operational hours (SOP 3. Housekeeping). Replenishment of all merchandise and food products in the showcase must be done. Complete store opening checklist and immediately report any difficulties/issues. Counting of cash float and re-checking the deposit, deposit slip and handover cash deposit. Signage of Bateel Logo needs to be on at the opening time. Starting the POS and BOH system. 4. Staff Briefing & Uniforms All team members should be presentable according to the Bateel grooming standards (SOP 4.1 & 4.2). Ensure that team members and systems are ready for trading and Boutique doors are open 5 minutes before the dedicated opening time.
