5.1 Opening

Opening procedures:

1. Clocking-in  All employees need to punch in by using the fingerprint machine (errors need to be reported to Boutique Manager and IT department).  Switch on the Boutique and showcase lights.  Re-start all the systems (POS, CC-machine, laptop). 2. Receiving Product & Orders  Receive your daily delivery according to the receiving procedures (SOP 9.2 Stock receiving and storing policy).  Delivery from the warehouse will take place between 7:30AM to 9:30AM. 3. Cleaning & Checklist Completion  Windows, Boutique floor and BOH need to be cleaned prior to operational hours (SOP 3. Housekeeping).  Replenishment of all merchandise and food products in the showcase must be done.  Complete store opening checklist and immediately report any difficulties/issues.  Counting of cash float and re-checking the deposit, deposit slip and handover cash deposit.  Signage of Bateel Logo needs to be on at the opening time.  Starting the POS and BOH system. 4. Staff Briefing & Uniforms  All team members should be presentable according to the Bateel grooming standards (SOP 4.1 & 4.2).  Ensure that team members and systems are ready for trading and Boutique doors are open 5 minutes before the dedicated opening time.
