Bateel paper bag policy

Purpose: For every purchase, a paper bag must be offered. For multiple items, the Sales Associate should ask if additional bags are required.

Suggested lines:

“Would you like additional bags for each gift box?”

 Use an appropriate size gift bag according to the purchased product.

 Bateel extra small bags will be offered for all gourmet product purchases like a single jam or spread purchase. However, when a customer purchases a few dates in a small ballotin box, a quarter kilo brown ballotin box, (for personal consumption) or a gift box (2 piece or 4 piece size), the Sales Associate must ask the customer the following question:

“Would you like me to place it in a bag for you or would you prefer to use your own bag?”

Note:

Never place paper bags with prepared customer orders directly on the floor.
