2.7 Customer data capture

Purpose:

Capturing the correct customer details gives us the opportunity to better understand the customer ’s needs and to customize the product offer and services.

Customer POS data capture process:

 Customer data should be collected in the POS while completing the transaction.

 Ask the customer politely for the following details: Name, Phone Number, and Email Address

 If the customer wants to know the reasons collecting the information, mention to them we would like them to be involved in our marketing activities and to inform them of new product launches.

Customer service lines:

 “We would like to stay in touch with our customers, would you like to provide us with your details?”

 “Since you are a valuable customer to Bateel, we kindly request your contact details so we can inform you of any new product l aunches” . Important Note: These lines are only guidelines and can be adjusted slightly since we do not want to sound robotic to customers.  While taking care of the transaction, please remind the customer that we would like to record their name, mobile and email address

Customer POS data capture:

All customer data should be collected in the POS while processing the transaction. Be sure to ask the customer politely for the following details: Name, Phone Number, and Email Address. In case you require the customer to insert his details in the customer card, it is mandatory to use the A5
