6.7. Damage handling

Procedures:

Non-saleable merchandise, due to damage or defect, should be recorded properly for inventory purposes.

Guidelines: 1. Any accidental damage to Bateel’s products or other items in the Boutique, no matter the size or quantity, must be immediately brought to the attention of the Boutique Manager and consequently the Operations Manager through the incident report. 2. If the product is damaged due to negligence by a team member, the Operations Manager is to evaluate the extent of damage and may request he/she compensate accordingly. 3. For items that get damaged in storage without proper explanation, the Boutique team will be held responsible. 4. All the Boutique mark outs must be reported daily to the inventory control team for passing necessary adjustments.
