Ensure all stores are clean, organized, presentable to customers at al times, and to comply with all health and safety requirements of the region

3.2 Window

Purpose:

The cleanliness of the Boutique windows (inside & outside) must always be maintained.

Frequency: As required, at least once per week.

Window cleaning procedure:

1. Prepare a bucket with warm, clean water.

2. Add window detergent as per instructions given on the bottle.

3. Clean the window or door thoroughly with the brush starting at the top and working towards the bottom, as your height permits. 4. Dry window thoroughly with the squeegee wiper starting from the top and working towards the bottom.

5. Clean the squeegee wiper with a cloth after each stroke.

6. Wipe excess water from the window with a clean cloth.

7. Polish the areas that have been cleaned with a dry cloth until water marks are no longer visible.

8. Repeat the process across the whole window.

9. Inspect the window for any marks and clean it with spray cleaner and a cloth.

Note: Outsourced cleaning contractors sourced by Bateel are to be used to ensure full cleaning of the areas of the window that are not accessible by Bateel staff due to height limitations.
