4.2 Uniform standards

Purpose: Bateel employees need to report to duty well-groomed and wearing full uniform as per company standards. If an employee does not adhere to the uniform standards, the manager on duty can send the employee home and the commission for that day will not be paid.

The importance of uniform and grooming:

 Our retail representatives are the image of Bateel.

 Creates a professional environment for our customers.

 Visual appearance creates the first impression.

 When you look good, you feel good.

Bateel general retail uniform standards:

 The uniform MUST be kept clean, ironed and free of stains.

How to care for your uniform:

 Pay attention to care labels.

 Never wash light and black colours together.

 Wash at low temperatures (30°).

 Wash inside out.

 Do not add bleach to the machine.

 Iron with low temperature & pressure, never iron the cardigan.

With the right care, the uniform should last for 12-18 months.
