Payment with Order Please indicate at the top of the order form how you would like to pay. If you do not have a credit account with us, all payments must be made prior to delivery. Debit/Credit Card: If you are paying by card a member of our customer services/accounts team will contact you for your credit or debit card details. Cheque: If you are paying by cheque, please make payment upon receipt of the payment request letter we send you. Cheques should be made payable to: BALL COLEGRAVE LIMITED and crossed ‘account payee’. Overpayments Overpayments are credited to your account and can be refunded on request. Starting a Credit Account To open a credit account, please contact our Accounts Department at accounts@ ballcolegrave.com to request the necessary application forms. IMPORTANT – Credit Terms Interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (APR 19.6%) will be charged on overdue accounts from the date that the invoice(s) become due. We reserve the right to withhold the fulfilment of any orders until all outstanding accounts have been settled in full. Value Added Tax (VAT) VAT will be added to all prices at the applicable current rate. Prices Please refer to the Pricing Terms and Conditions on your 2027 Vegetable, Fruit & Herb Plant and Seed quotations. The minimum order value for seed is £25.00. Customers in the Republic of Ireland please refer to the Euro Price List.
Areas We Supply In addition to the U.K. mainland, we supply plants to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland (Eire), the Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and the Isles of Scilly. Please see the notes on Carriage for delivery charges. Minimum Order – Mainland UK Deliveries The minimum delivery of Plants to Mainland UK is 13 trays. A surcharge of £25 will be levied on any deliveries less than 13 trays, in any delivery week. Minimum Order – Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland The minimum delivery of Plants to Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland is 32 trays in any delivery week. Documentation charges will be added to all deliveries. Carriage Delivery within the U.K. mainland and the Isle of Wight is provided free of charge, subject to any applicable minimum order surcharge. Please note that an additional fee will apply for deliveries to the destinations listed below. Carriage – Seeds Free within the U.K. mainland only, subject to the minimum order value. A surcharge of £15 will be levied on any orders less than £25. *A handling charge of £10.00/order will be applied to any order containing 1kg of Peas and Beans.
Placing Your Order We confirm all forward orders in writing. Please check your order confirmation carefully, including varieties, quantities and delivery dates, and notify us immediately of any discrepancies. If your original selection is unavailable, we will offer a substitute variety or delivery week where possible. Cancellation Procedure We reserve the right to charge for all, or part of, any order cancelled by the customer if products are already in production. Returns – Seeds Ball Colegrave Ltd will accept no unauthorised returned goods. Telephone our Customer Services Department if there are any queries relating to your order. Please quote our order number when calling. This tray will remain the property of Ball Colegrave Limited. and will be collected as soon as possible. Each tray has a fixed two- dimensional code that is moulded into the tray together with a label. When connected to a modern ERP system, this code enables precise tracking and traceability of the tray at any time. Republic of Ireland: Varieties marked as available in the Legged Tray cannot be delivered to the Republic of Ireland. Plant count: Actual order and sales plant counts may vary by variety. For example, Basil Green Sensation produced in a 128 cell tray will be booked and invoiced as 125 plants per tray. Please refer to the individual order forms for specific details by variety.
