• Word work: For more work on vowel teams see Workbook 2 pages 16-20. DA Writing , Exercise 1: Pupils can use the animal they talked about in Speaking and listening on page 53. • Exercise 3: Introduce peer editing . Have pupils read their writing to a partner and say one thing they like about their partner’s work and one thing that can be improved. DA Some pupils may be asked to write paragraphs. Help them to structure their paragraphs. CR Remind pupils to look out for any Creole dialect structures and change them into standard English. • For more work on word webs, see Unit 12.
