If the root word ends in ‘e’, drop the ‘e’ before adding ‘ ing ’. ride è riding take è taking

• Exercise 3: Can be played in groups of three or as a class. Encourage pupils to mime different actions. Tell them to also ask and answer questions such as, “What are you doing?”/“I am ____ing”, “What am I doing?”/“You are ___ing”.
