Write your own story about Little Frog.

• What happens at the beginning? • What happens in the middle? • What happens at the end?

3 Write your story. Use your story chart to help you.

4 Re-read what you have written. • Check that your sentences are clear. • Have you used full stops and capital letters?

5 Revise your story and write it out neatly.

• Writing : Ask pupils about Little Frog’s character (wants to do impossible things). This may help them to think of another story. Maybe he sees a butterfly flying, or a worm going underground. • Demonstrate to pupils how to revise a draft . Show them how to improve what they have written and schedule time for them to practise.
