Drop the ‘e’
If the verb ends in ‘e’, drop the ‘e’ and add ‘ ed ’. race è rac ed Kim rac ed to get the ball.

5 Rewrite this rhyme. Put all the underlined verbs in the past tense. The monkey waves to the cat. The tiger chases the rat. Goat smiles at Frog. Mouse dances with Dog. The rabbit hopes that the kangaroo waves and dances and smiles at her too.
