Integrated Behavioral Health Program * Multifaceted, grant-funded program provides mental health resources to pediatric patients in the primary care setting. ■ The program uses FIRST (Feeling Calm, Increasing Motivation, Repairing Thoughts, Solving Problems and Trying the Opposite)—a transdiagnostic treatment approach building on principles found in evidence-based treatment for internalizing and externalizing problems. ■ Patients may also be referred to virtual therapy/groups or higher-level specialty care for additional assessment and treatment of more severe or unique disorders.

Post-Pediatric Portal Program: Riley Children’s is one of five institutions in the nation to offer this three-year combined training program in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry for physicians who
have completed a core pediatric residency. We are the first to offer all three child psychiatry training programs (fellowship program, triple board program and post-pediatric portal program).

Riley Children’s is the only U.S. entity certified to train providers on ENCOMPASS, an evidence-based model that uses CBT, motivational interviewing, pharmacotherapy and contingency management to treat co- occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders in adolescents. The Down Syndrome and Developmental Regression Program at IU School of Medicine provides unique care across the lifespan of persons with Down syndrome. The program focuses on helping families access care when their loved ones with a confirmed diagnosis of Down syndrome
