• This song can be learnt by heart and sung regularly to reinforce the letters of the alphabet. Make up your own tune or use one with which you are familiar. • It may help pupils to clap the beats (four to each line). The letters and words which are to be stressed are in bold type and underlined. In the first line of each couplet, the larger spaces between the alphabet letters indicate pauses, to help pupils with the rhythm of the song.
