Entry requirements: First or 2:i (or international equivalent) at Undergraduate level. Previous study of some quants and finance is required, however if you have studied a significant amount of accounting or finance then our specialist finance courses may be more relevant. If English is not your first language, please note that you must meet a minimum overall standard in a recognised test of English. Why MSc Business & Finance? Develop a combination of business and management skills alongside advanced financial skills, enabling you to undertake a range of financial management roles for organisations outside of the finance industry. You’ll uncover key management and business expertise by exploring modern business principles and techniques. Alongside this, you’ll advance your financial skillset, giving you the ability to understand organisations as a whole. With the option to choose our Business in Practice module, you’ll put your learnings into practice to strengthen your industry expertise. Assessment and modules Over three terms you will complete eight compulsory modules, and two optional modules of your choice. If you choose the Dissertation route you will undertake one optional module alongside the ‘Research Methods for Financial Management’ module in term two, and if you select the term three Business in Practice route you will also select one additional optional module. Assessment of these modules will vary, and you could be assessed by group work, project work, or examination.
