4 Complete these sentences with present perfect verb forms.

5 Ask each other four questions in the present perfect tense.

Write sentences about what your partner tells you. Example: Jason has been to the ocean, but he has never seen a whale.

• Exercise 5: To use the present perfect in a real life context, conduct a class survey. Agree on three or four activities and find out how many students have done them. Ask, e.g. Who has travelled in a plane? • Exercise 6: Remind students to use the past participles of verbs like visit . DA  Allow some students to answer Exercises 6 and 7 orally.
