Opening remarks
Thank you very much for your generous birthday gift of EC$150. I plan to use the money to buy some new football boots, as I have been picked for the school team this year. I had a really good time on my birthday. Mommy arranged a beach party and let me invite all my friends. We ate barbecued chicken and played beach football. We wanted to go swimming, but the waves were too high. The lifeguard told us to stay out of the water. Just before everyone went home, Mommy produced an enormous birthday cake with eleven candles for me to blow out. All my friends sang Happy Birthday to me at the tops of their voices. I am sorry you couldn’t come to my party, but I’m looking forward to seeing you in the Easter holidays. Are you enjoying using your new computer? Mommy sends you her love. Your grandson, Michael
Thanks
