The cause is WHY something happens. The effect is WHAT happens. Cause Effect Roslyn lost the equipment.

Role play your conversation. Take turns to play the role of the person who damaged the item. • Apologise to your friend and explain how the item was damaged. • Tell your friend what you will do about it. 2 Imagine that you have damaged some school property. • Apologise to your school principal and explain how the property was damaged. • Tell the principal what you will do about it.
CR Students can prepare the first role play both in Creole and in Standard English. Discuss with them when it Is appropriate to use Creole, and when they should use Standard English. ICT Video some of the student role plays. Play them back for students to evaluate what they see and hear.
