Autobiography An autobiography is an account someone writes of his or her own life. It describes the important events in this person’s life. It can also include details of how the writer feels about these events.

You are going to write your autobiography. Follow the writing process practised in previous units.

• Timeline: Students can present their timeline either horizontally or vertically as on page 36. • This would be a good opportunity for students to publish a piece they have written and include it in their writing portfolio . They can either write a neat copy by hand or type it on a computer. • Students should include a reflection on their autobiography in their writing portfolio.
