The driver braked hard. The dog got away but the passengers in the van had a shock. The passengers were angry with the driver. The passengers told the driver to drive more slowly.
Possessive adjectives
The following words are possessive adjectives . We use them to show who owns something: my your his her its our their They always go before nouns: That is his van. This is my car.
