Discover Volcanoes

Heading

What is a volcano? A volcano is a place where gas and molten rock erupt through the rock layers of the Earth’s crust. There are different types of volcanoes: some are just cracks in the ground, but others form cones with a crater at the top. Some volcanoes are buried under the ocean floor. The inside of the Earth contains magma , which is molten rock. From time to time the magma erupts through the Earth’s ash cloud crater lava flow
