Prepositional phrases

1 Find five prepositional phrases between line 18 and the end of the poem on page 105.

2 Copy out the following passage. Circle the preposition and underline the prepositional phrase in each sentence. Until last month there were bats roosting under the eaves of our house. Sometimes they hung from the tree next to the house. Mrs. Allen, who lives down the road, said they were fruit-eating bats. They stick their noses into the paw-paws and suck the sweet flesh. Example: Fruit-eating bats find fallen fruit on the ground.
