6 Change these sentences from reported to direct speech. Example: She told us that she had passed her exam. è “I have passed my exam,” she told us. 1 Mrs. Todd said she thought we would do well. 2 She said we had all worked hard. 3 Dad said he was proud of me. 4 My friend said she would meet us outside the café.

8 Read what Dad e-mailed Zak. Write contractions for the full verbs in bold.
