Natashas’s group designed a poster . è active In the active voice the subject (Natasha’s group) performs the action (designed).
The poster was designed by Natasha’s group. è passive In the passive voice, the subject (the poster) receives the action. Passive verbs are made up of the verb be + the past participle.
Conjunctions join words, phrases, clauses and sentences. The words and , or , but and so are coordinating conjunctions .
