Before using each one, go through it with the class, thinking aloud and demonstrating how to make best use of it. • Self assessment 1: Use this with students after they have completed each What have I learnt? page to help them assess their progress. • Self assessment 2: Use this after students have spoken in public, e.g when they have made a presentation or recited a poem.
