Greeting Opening remarks Today’s date

Dear Reuben, I hope you and Auntie Grace are well. Mom’s ankle is nearly better and she’s going back to work nextweek. Mom and Dad said I could write to you with an important invitation. We are planning to go to Dominica in the summer holidays and we would be really pleased if you came with us. Dad’s friend lives in Dominica but he is going to work in Canada for three months and he says we can stay in his house. It’s a big house so there will be plenty of room for you and Auntie Grace. The house is close to the sea, so we will be able to play cricket on the beach and swim every day. Mom says it’s great for snorkelling and there are some wonderful fish in the bay. Dad has also promised he will take us to watch turtles one night. We are hoping to go straight after school finishes in July and stay for three weeks. It’s going to be the best holiday ever and I really hope you can join us.
