Negative sentences in the simple present tense

We use the helping verb do / does with the root verb to form the negative of the present tense: A hummingbird eats worms. è A hummingbird does not eat worms. helping verb main verb Manatees live more than ten years. è Manatees do not live more than ten years .

8 Make up two more sentences of your own about what you or your friends do not do at school.
